Happy Easter!

Happy belated Easter to everyone and hopefully you enjoyed the special day as much as we did... We snuck in an extra day with Wes on Friday and he was able to join Seanna and I for our tumble class and then we all went to lunch together at Ruby's! Saturday was our big Easter Egg Hunt in the Community. Seanna sat on the Easter Bunny's lap and tried to pull off his mask, we then ventured over to the pancake breakfast being hosted by the Boy Scouts--Seanna decided she wanted a taste of my pancakes! Wes was estatic to find out that she LOVES pancakes and he will now have someone to go to IHOP with when he wants a stack of pancakes!

At the strike of 9am, the Egg Hunt was "on" and Wes took Seanna into the little area and she hunted for Easter Eggs with about 100 other kids ages 0-3 years old! It was so stinkin cute to watch her try to figure out exactly what she was supposed to be doing--we maybe should have practiced a little beforehand so she understood the whole egg hunt concept. She started off by picking up all the leaves, but once daddy showed her the colored plastic egg, she got the hang of it quickly. She ended up with 5 eggs in her little chicken basket, which we thought was pretty good for her first time. She seemed to really enjoy herself and we saw alot of our friends from the community and other little kids that we socialize with... In the afternoon we all took a walk to the park up the street from our house, with Axel, and Seanna played in the sand with her toys, while Wes threw the ball for Axel.

Saturday night however, was not as much fun! Seanna's front teeth and her lower molars are coming in and she has been MISERABLE. She woke up 6 times from Saturday night to Sunday morning, hollering in pain. Not even the MOTRIN was helping at this point... Sunday morning she seemed in a little better spirits, but her naps have whittled down to about 45 minutes these days so I know she is really struggling to sleep. She is still a little alarm clock and knows when it's 5:30 in the evening and starts hollering to go to bed and she wakes each day at 5am. Sunday afternoon we spent with Wes' grandparents in Irvine at their condo. Grandpa Henry and Grandmother Ruth really enjoyed Seanna's antics and all of their stuffed animal dogs they had around the house. We ended our wonderful day with a lamb and sweet potato dinner that was to die for at our house and ended the weekend on that note!

Love to all...
